Delta Trap
Product Description: Delta trap is usually made of polypropylene flute board or plain PP sheet laminated paper board. The name comes from their shape which is in the form of “Delta (Δ)”. The triangular shaped opening at both ends provides entry for the insects. An arrangement is provided inside the trap to place a sticky adhesive sheet on the base at the bottom and a hanger at the top to hold the pheromone dispenser.
Materials of Construction UV Stabilized Plastic Polymer or Paper board.

Colour Yellow, White and customized colours.
Effective life span in the field Multiple seasons (subject to weather conditions)
Target Pests All flying pests
How it works Insects enter the trap through the delta/triangle shape entrance in response to the pheromone emitted by the lure that is placed inside the trap. Once inside the trap, insects strike against the wall while in flight and fall on to the adhesive sheet placed at the bottom of the delta trap. Where in they will get stuck and killed.

Packing:

  • 50 traps along with hangers are stacked into one card board carton.

Storage/Safety/Disposal precautions:

  • Store away from sunlight until the actual moment of placing in the field.
  • Keep away from fire and heat of 60 degrees celsius plus temperature.
  • Mode of disposal and precautions to be identical to those followed while disposing of any regular plastic polymer product.
