Rise-L is a biological fungicide based on a selected strain of naturally occurring beneficial soil fungus Trichoderma viride, that protects crops from several diseases caused by seed borne and soil borne fungal pathogens like Rhizoctonia spp, Pythium spp, Fusarium spp and Alternaria spp. It is used as an effective seedling (Root dipping) and soil treatment product to combat seed and soil borne fungal diseases. Rise-L contains spores and mycelial fragments of Trichoderma viride in liquid formulation with a minimum CFU count of 5 X 109 /ml.

Composition: Trichoderma viride with add preservatives and carrier.

Application Protocol:
Soil application – Mix 1 liter of Rise-L with 100 kg of compost incubate for 4 days and apply to the one-acre field.
Seedling (Root dipping) – Mix 1 liter of Rise-L in 10 liters of water, keep the seedling roots in immersed condition for 30 minutes and transfer it to the field.
Soil Drenching – Mix 1 liter of Rise-L in 100 – 200 liters of water and drench 500 ml solution near root zone of crop.
Drip Irrigation – Mix 1 liter of Rise-L in 100 liters of water and mix well. Allow to sediment and decant supernatant and feed it through drip irrigation.

Mode of Action: Trichoderma viride shows Competition between the pathogens for space and Nutrients and it also shows mycoparasitism on the pathogen before the pathogen reaches the root zone of the plant and it attacks the disease-causing organism. It produces toxic substances that suppresses the pathogen.
