Progress-PFL

Progress-PFL is a biological fungicide, bio nematicide and a Plant growth promoting rhizosphere bacterial bio fertilizer (PGPR) which is selected strain of naturally occurring beneficial soil bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens. Pseudomonas fluorescens protects crops from various soil borne bacterial diseases and fungal diseases like sheath blight of rice, sheath blight of banana and diseases caused by various pathogenic fungal species. Pseudomonas fluorescens is also a bionematicide that controls nematodes like Root knot nematode, cyst nematode, and citrus nematode. It is a Liquid formulation with a minimum CFU count of 5 X 109 / ml.

Benefits:
Effective control of root rot, sheath blight, fruit rot, leaf spot, wilts, pod rot and paddy blast.
Produces plant growth promoting hormones IAA, Gibberellins, and Cytokinin’s.
Increases yield by reducing disease incidences. Promotes root development and vegetative growth.

Recommended crops: Rice, Chilly, Cotton, Tomato, Cereals, Millets, Pulses, Oilseeds, Fiber Crops, Sugar Crops, Forage Crops, Plantation crops, Vegetables, Fruits, Spices, Medicinal crops, Aromatic Crops, Orchards and Ornamentals.

Composition: Pseudomonas fluorescens with added preservatives and carrier.

Application Protocol:
Soil application – Mix 1 liter of Progress-PFL with 100 kg of compost incubate for 4 days and apply to the one-acre field.
Seedling (Root dipping) – Mix 1 liter of Progress-PFL in 10 liters of water, keep the seedling roots in immersed condition for 30 minutes and transfer it to the field.
Soil Drenching – Mix 1 liter of Progress-PFL in 100 – 200 liters of water and drench the solution near root zone of crop.
Drip Irrigation – Mix 1 liter of Progress-PFL in 100 liters of water and apply using drip irrigation system

Mode of Action: It colonizes and absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site of host and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food and it suppresses the pathogens by secretion of antibiotic compounds and secondary metabolites. It also produces lytic enzymes which degrades the cells of pathogenic fungi.

Compatibility: Compatible with all pesticides and fertilizers.
