Progress-PFP

It is a biological fungicide, nematicide and a Plant growth promoting rhizosphere bacteria (PGPR). It contains Pseudomonas flourescens in wettable powder form with a minimum CFU count of 5 X 107 /g.

Benefits:
It protects crops from various soil borne diseases and fungal diseases like sheath blight of rice, sheath blight of banana. It also controls nematodes like Root knot nematode, cyst nematode, and citrus nematode.

Recommended crops: Rice, Chilli, Cotton, Tomato, Cereals, Millets, Pulses, Oilseeds, Fiber crops, Sugarcane, Forage Crops, Plantation crops, Vegetables, Fruits, Spices, Flowers, Medicinal crops, Aromatic crops, Orchards, and Ornamentals.

Composition: It contains Pseudomonas flourescens in wettable powder form with and Carrier.

Application protocol:
Soil application – Mix 5kg of Progress-PFP with 100 kg of compost incubate for 4 days and apply to the one-acre field.
Seed Treatment – Mix 10 gm of Progress-PFP of with 10 gms of jaggery in sufficient water to make a slurry and treat 1 kg of seeds, dry in shade for 30 minutes and sow / broadcast / dibble in the field.
Seedling treatment (Root dipping) – Mix 2kg of Progress-PFP in 10 liters of water, keep the seedling roots in immersed condition for 30 minutes and transfer it to the field.
Soil Drenching – Mix 5 kg of Progress-PFP in 100 – 200 liters of water and drench solution near root zone of crop.

Mode of Action: It colonizes and absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site of host and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food. It suppresses the pathogens by secreting antibiotic compounds and secondary metabolites. It also produces lytic enzymes which degrades the cell wall of pathogenic fungi.

Compatibility: Compatible with all pesticides and fertilizers.
