Application Protocol:
Seed treatment: Mix 7 gms of Major per 1Kg of seeds, properly mix it and shade dry before Sowing.
Nursery beds: Mix 100 gms of Major per 1 sq. meter.
Soil Application: Mix 2 kg of Major per 1acre drip/conventional system (or) mix with 300- 500 kg FYM, incubates it and finally broadcast in the field.
Mode of Action: Conidial spores of the fungus are slimy and attach to the cuticle of the insect. Hyphae from the germinating spores are produced that penetrate the insect’s integument and destroy the internal contents of the insect. It produces other insecticidal toxins such as dipicolinic acid. These toxins weaken the hosts immune system and eventually killing it.
