Dome traps are extremely useful in monitoring & controlling Red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus) and Rhino Beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) that are a big menace to Coconut, Oil Palm, Date Palm & Areca Nut plantations.
Product Description: Dome trap, is a dome shaped container. Pheromone dispenser and weevil magnet are hung inside the dome trap by clamping / tying. Holes provided on top of the dome trap serve as entry points for the weevils.

| How it works | Red Palm Weevils and Rhino Beetles are attracted by the pheromone lure and magnet hung under the cap inside the trap, which are either tied to the trees at a height of about 1.5 meters or placed near tree trunk at ground level. They enter the trap through four holes, fall into the trap and get killed. |
